Jan Wijgerse (Priva) Export Manager of the Year 2011

The jury report praised the way in which Jan Wijgerse has shaped export policy within Priva over the last fourteen years. During this time Priva has developed into a truly international company which was consistently able to renew itself. In the final Jan Wijgerse was up against three other nominated export managers: Rick Boeijen (Xidoor B.V), Gerhard Dersjant (Movacolor B.V.) and Crijn Sprinkhuizen (Sanyo E&E Europe B.V.)

The Priva company is the market leader in climate control and process management in the horticulture sector and building market. Within the horticulture sector Priva enables entrepreneurs worldwide to produce healthy, high-quality food and ornamental plant crops in open field or as a covered crop. About the award
Fenedex and ExportSelect, recruitment and selection agency for the export market, are awarding the Export Manager Award for the fifth year. The Export Manager who wins this title will have proven that he or she is responsible for sustainable successes in overseas markets and is responsible for the strategic formation and management of a successful export policy.
